If I were selling a 351 Cleveland from an 84 Econoline 150 with 80500 miles on it what should I ask I was thinking somewhere around $2500

I'm guessing you meant $250? If so that sounds about right, i guess. Still might take a little bit to sell.

I can buy them all day long for 200-300. I can buy a reman short block for 2,200.

That would be a Windsor motor, not a Cleveland but 250 would be a very reasonable price for it.

I paid 200 for a similar low-mileage 302 last year.
