need the name of what I call a water or meter key... but not the tool with the u-channel for that type of meter... I need the name of the tool that has two prongs on the end that form a u-shapenot this one: everything looks the same except at the end there are two prongs and not the u-channel also, where can I find a pvc threaded cap that fits into the pipe and has a recessed cross and not the extruded square? like this:only it's not just the one slot, but another one that forms a plus sign [Edited on December 2, 2009 at 4:02 PM. so apparently this type of plug is so old no one around here has the tool for it... just gonna get my shop to make one
12/4/2009 10:23:15 AM
Just route one out of some 4x4 wood. It's makeshift but it should work. Nail a board to it for leverage. Ghetto but I'll be damned if it doesn't work.
