lol replace all of those torrent site acronyms with topsite and group acronyms (you can leave iso/izohunt) and you have still the past 20 years in piracy.

it's definitely more of a pain to download content than it used to be...sometimes i have to wait until at least noon the next day to download HD versions of popular TV shows

^ I saw that too, I just went ahead and clicked "register" and it didn't ask for an invite code. I just got the email confirmation.

Unless you want "respect" on a torrent site, you should pay for usenet.

I just did the registration with no problems as well. Apparently everyone is trying to use it right now though. Right after I confirmed my registration I got a "Service Unavailable"... Looks like I might want to wait a day or two before actually trying to use it.

last time i checked, StC was still around.

also, lol at people thinking the death of public trackers equates to the end of bittorrent.

i haven't used a private tracker since high school except for quick searches for stupid shit. [cracks, cheesy music, shit i don't want to have to worry about seeding for years]

I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.

yes, this is the end of BitTorrent. Newsgroups, Napster, KaZaA, RapidShare, xtube and Google are next.

"Bit Che"

blows donkey balls...unless it's a super-hidden setting that i can't find, bit che doesn't identify which torrents come from private trackers (and therefore are useless) and which are public...it also doesn't have an upload date field, so if you're looking for something like a tv show and aren't sure which was the last episode, you can't tell which torrents were uploaded most recently (yes, you can look at the episode numbers, but that doesn't preclude fake torrents from showing up, the ones that you can easily spot by their upload dates)

monova and btjunkie have been pretty good for me in the past and in the wake up mininova and demonoid being down they have been fairly strong. Monova is sometimes unavailable but i think that's due to the influx of new users.

trackeraccess.org will definitely get some usage from me now too.
Also try 1337x.org

I could never get it to work correctly. I did leech from one of the tops on campus at like 10Mb/s though.

Such a weird day when a fellow TWWer (at that point random-IRCer) was heading up this 'interrogation'. Grilling me about 495843 different regarding the site and my location/account. lol

So because of xmas I guess -- I have a couple of invites to revtt. What's another good private site these days?

Also, using newsgroups is a helluva nifty way to beef up your ratio on torrent sites (download the torrent but get the bulk of the rars from binaries). revtt must have sceneheads because the releases are usually within minutes of pre times and sometimes hours before usenet.
