My first round of finals is coming up next week, and we are using examsoft for all the finals. Not sure if anybody has heard of it; I hadn't until this semester.Anyway, If you do know something about it, maybe you can help...I installed the examsoft software, registered it, and then downloaded all of my exams. A couple weeks later, I upgraded my computer to Windows 7. I had read prior that Examsoft was compatible with windows 7. (I decided to upgrade because I was having issues with it running in Vista, and somebody with Windows 7 said it ran awesome).Anyway, I go to boot up examsoft to make sure it still works after the windows 7 install, and an error message pops up, saying I have to reregister examsoft because something was corrupted, blah blah. I reregistered, and everything works fine. What I am worried about is that the exam file downloads will not be ok. That when I go to load them up on exam day, they will still be corrupt or something.I would just re-download the exam files, but the school only allows one download of the exams. (not sure why). I read on Examsoft's website that if you do a "windows recovery" it rolls back the registry, and you will have to re-register AND re-download the exam files. But I dont know if this applies to my situation, because Im not too knowledgeable about this kind of stuff.Sorry for the wordiness, can't call the school because of the holidays, and cant call examsoft till monday because of the holidays as well. First exam is monday 8 am. Anybody know if the exam files are OK? Worst comes to worst, I have to handwrite my exam, but that would suck big time. http://www.examsoft.com/main/index.php[Edited on November 27, 2009 at 9:09 PM.
