Do they publish a coffee-table book of NCSU's history and photos of the campus? I'm looking on Amazon but searching "North Carolina State University" brings up a couple thousand hits on books alone

One book is North Carolina State University: A Bridge to the Future by Adam Smith, published in 2003. Looks like Amazon doesn't sell it, but I did find it on Barnes & Noble's website. You can probably order it through the campus bookstore as well.A book that I like better is North Carolina State University: A Pictorial History by Murray Scott Downs from 1986, but it's been out of print for many years, so you'd have to go the used route. There are a few copies available from Amazon Sellers at the moment, in fact.

i'd be glad to give you a copy of the bell tower book when it comes out, too. Check out History of State College. Lockemiller. 1938Hill has a dozen copies. Not many pictures, but damn good writing. Referenced it in my thesis many times.

Oh when's that one supposed to get published?

Once I graduate (the 19th w00t) and I get copyrights cleared. Right now there's only one copy and if you're on/near campus any time, I'd be glad to how it to you over Cup-A-Joe or something.
