She tried to sell it in another thread for

"I'm selling one for $300 on ebay but I'll sell for $275... it's used, but I just got it completely wiped and restored to "like new" by a dell technician and I haven't used it at all since then. The outside is scratched from basic bookbag use, but the inside is flawless. It's a Dell Inspiron B130. I have anit virus software (norton 360) that cost me $200, that I will install on it to bring the price up to $350 if you're interested in having the software. Just let me know if you're intersted, and we can meet so you can look at it.
Thanks, Sara"

Ebay has these in used good conditions selling for ~50 with less than 12 hours left, I have seen ones with good batteries and such go for less than $100 shipped all day long.

So you think that antivirus, bad antivirus at that, is worth $200? or wait, now its worth $75? But on ebay you need $300. And even YOU could have done an ffr, or just used the Dell restore disks to format it to 'like new'. That does not rewind the usage clock, or make it capable of running a modern operating system. such as 7. Nor does it replace an old model battery that by now is well into its lifespan, if it holds a charge at all. Just suck it up, sell this thing cheap, or use it as a backup for whatever you use now. You can get NEW dell laptops, better speced other than screen size, for cheaper than this POS. You can go used and get the same screen, more ram, and a bigger bang for less than the 350 this costs with a shitty AV software on it.

semoore5, prices on TheWolfWeb tend to start off at 50-75% of what should be listed on eBay or classifieds ad. That being said, I agree with ^, and, $100 is the maximum you will receive on here. Starting the bidding at $50 would be a good idea. And, if you don't like the price you get, you can decline to sell. And, based on the number of responses to this thread, you likely have several interested folks, myself included, who are looking to buy a laptop at this point.

Also, there are computers going on sale this Friday for $200 which are newer and have better specifications. FYI in case you are looking to sell elsewhere.

I'm sorry that I wasted anyone's time by posting this for sale. I know nothing about computers, am only going with the price that I was quoted for dell. I don't appreciate all of the rude comments... If you aren't interested, that's fine..there is no reason to be rude. And as far as the battery goes, it was just replaced with a new one. I have never used wolf web before and thought this would be a good place to post but I was wrong. If I knew more about the site and could figure out how to delete the post so that the harrassing comments would end then I would. For those of you who have viewed the listing and decided not to be distasteful with your comments, thanks for your time.

yeah, you can sell that laptop on Craigslist for $200. which equates to about $100 here on TWW. Black Friday is around the corner and you'll be able to get a great brand new laptop for that price.

thats not really true. most of the ones selling for under $150ish need repair. good ones are $150+ (with shipping). and given the choice, with used computers, I'd pay more to be able to pick up it locally and test it out/look at it before forking over my money. theres value in that.
