If only every year was 1974

edit: never mind - conf. only graph.Might as well make the post somewhat meaningful. Red dots represent conference championships.[Edited on November 10, 2009 at 5:10 PM. Reason : -]

oh, snap! what's the slope of the last two points? extrapolate and find this year's awesomeness.

man, 93 was rough

look at sendek's slope vs. lowe's...
11/10/2009 5:44:42 PM
Hey! We're at the same point we were at right before 72/73! A sign of good things to come?!?!?!

Don't get your hopes up.

4 of sendek's final five years we were over .500 in league play; not too shabby

this graph is dumb

i would be interested to see a side by side comparison of all ACC teams. It seems that minus a few spots here and there that we are very inconsistent. The graph is up one year, down the next, back up, back down, etc.

Yep, you're also the only tard who double posted.
11/11/2009 8:14:06 AM
meaningless graph.
11/11/2009 8:27:53 AM
I think I made that graph a long time ago.At any rate:Trendlines added. 2nd degree polynomial
11/11/2009 9:20:22 AM
Now I get it
11/11/2009 9:31:57 AM
So the only two coaches who consistently trended upward were V and Sendek?
11/11/2009 9:37:58 AM
Depends on how you format the trendline. 3rd power polynomials give them both a peak right before their time at State ended. Case also heads up towards the end and Les does worse.
11/11/2009 9:51:51 AM
bring back Les! I've never seen such amazing consistency.

Divided by coaches. Eyeball approximation for best line fit:
