there are several flavors of Jello pudding mix that are Sugar Free. definitely check them out! it's a very low-calorie dessert, even when you add protein powder

11/8/2009 7:30:50 PM
His book uses protein powder in many of the recipes.
11/8/2009 7:31:59 PM
oh ok, i'll have to check it out.my husband is kind of a body builder, so he does a lot of protein supplements. and i have a lap band, so i have to make sure to get my protein in everyday (since i don't eat very much), so protein powder is extremely useful in this household.]
11/8/2009 7:33:10 PM
have you always had a lap band??

11/8/2009 7:42:45 PM
cheese cake with reduced fat cream cheese, splenda, and flaxseed meal crust. not all that bad for you, considering it's cheese cake.
11/8/2009 7:50:42 PM
i really really want oatmeal chocolate chip bars or waffle cookies
11/8/2009 7:54:57 PM
i still have 32.5 brownies left.
11/8/2009 11:24:41 PM

11/8/2009 11:29:35 PM

11/8/2009 11:30:05 PM

You didn't make this thread to see what we are having for dessert, you made it to tell us you are having "protein pudding"
11/9/2009 2:19:56 AM
the protein part sounds like it would make it not taste good
11/9/2009 10:54:12 AM
you've obviously never had any type of flavored protein powderit's the vanilla ice cream flavor
11/9/2009 10:54:59 AM
the secret to good tasting protein powder is to not buy cheap powder.

we get the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein Gold Series and we order them from DPS Nutrition because shipping is cheap, and there's always some kind of deal going where you get a free t-shirt or $$ off when you spend a certain amount. and shipping is always super fast cuz it ships from Charlotte (i think).http://www.dpsnutrition.net/oh snap, they've got EggNog flavor ]
11/9/2009 1:13:25 PM
Eggnog is teh wins! You guys should get some. I'll chip in some $$$ and we can get a bulk order!
11/9/2009 1:42:31 PM
My goto is the vanilla icecreamI bet the eggnog would be yummy.
11/9/2009 4:49:11 PM
yeah i think i'm gonna splurge today. we typically keep 3 flavors in the house: strawberry, vanilla ice cream, and rocky road. i think i'm gonna order a 2lb tub of caramal toffee fudge and egg nog ]
11/9/2009 4:51:41 PM
dudedudeduuuuuuuuuuuuude BSN protein is by far the best ive ever had.(i've tried "all they whey". gold standard, ON, and one other i cant think of now)mixed that with 1/2 cup of milk and a bunch of ice.swear it tastes just like a frosty!
11/9/2009 4:53:23 PM
I wonder how many million artifical chemicals they use in those protein powders for coloring and for making flavors such as "caramal toffee fudge"
11/9/2009 5:31:09 PM
i imagine its equivalent to a twinkie.[Edited on November 9, 2009 at 5:35 PM. Reason : nm]
