that might be what a dealership charges, but that's not private sale value

if you get more than $10k, i'll be surprised

Judging by cars.com prices, that's a false statement... and we've already been offered 10.5K which the guy even admitted was lowballing... but we don't HAVE to sell... so...

They're the Ford Racing Rims.
When Joe bought it, it basically had all the features you could get at the time.

dude the clean trade-in is 11.3k, and clean retail is 14.5k. She could easily get more than 10K from carmax, so be surprised. tww might not pay more than 10k, but everyone else will.

if somebody has some shit priced too high, fine, call them on it. this is not one of those cases... obviously so since you're the only one dicking with her about the price. get lost.

really, no shit

she listed NADA book value, but neglected to mention that her quote was retail, not private party value...which is SPECIFICALLY why i mentioned it...i don't consider pointing out missing information as trolling, but you might

value is completely subjective...i didn't say she WOULDN'T get more than $10k, i said i'd be SURPRISED...i also didn't say she was asking too much...i simply noted that she was intentionally pretending like it's worth $14.5k private party and that that's stupid

again, she can come back in here and laugh with a smiley face when she gets $10k+ in FACT and not in theory...until then, i'll remain skeptical, if that's okay with you? if not, i'll try to get your permission next time i'm skeptical

jeebus, i wasn't even rude...do you have a thing for her, or something?

nada doesn't even have a "private party" value, all it has a "clean retail" and trade in amounts. and it's known for being more accurate than KBB, which has a "private party" value. sure she won't get retail value, which is why she's not asking for it. but she can expect to get more than trade in, or at least try

and im not gonna quote the rest of it, but she could easily get more than 10K for the car at Carmax, much less a private party, so like I said, be surprised...by your poor automobile pricing skills

yeah, i have a thing for married chicks. call me crazy.
it bothers me when people come in here trolling on price when a) they're not even interested AND b) they're way off base
