Our Rottie has outgrown his old crate and so this one needs to go. I'd rather deal with TWW than Craigslist since a lot of people on CL don't show up for items.

Dimensions are roughly 34"x20"x27".

Asking $60 for this improv jungle gym.

I realize $50 is a fair price when compared to retail, but I run across these on occasion thru my rescue work and if you would be willing to take about $35-40 I could move it for you asap. If not, I understand totally as these things aren't cheap.

how big was your rottie (or i guess the biggest he was) when he used this?

you seem like an animal person - why did you choose a crate like this instead of one like this:



i am looking for a crate (more like the photo i posted but i'd consider the "pet taxi" style kind like yours and MIGHT be interested). just wondering why you chose the kind you did

The measurements were taken with a tape measure, so they're pretty spot on.

The only reason I had this crate rather than a wire one was because he went through several crates as he grew (3 before his final crate) and so I was borrowing crates or buying second-hand. We purchased his FINAL crate when he grew out of this pet taxi. The new one is 48x30x33, wire and folding for travel and storage.

I don't remember his exact size when he was using this crate (he's 100 lbs now and comfortably fills his crate laying down), but the general rule is for the dog to have enough room to lay down, turn around and sit/stand.

khcadwal -- That looks like the exact crate we got for our Golden Retriever puppy -- comes with a divider so it can be adjusted to his size as he grows. Seemed like the best one we came across locally -- unfortunately the tray at the bottom rattles against the crate when the dog walks into/out of the crate which scares him away. If you pick that one up, I'd recommend putting a towel or some fabric of some sort between the tray and the crate so keep it from rattling.

We also picked up a travel crate since we had to do a lot of driving over Thanksgiving and Christmas -- its a metal crate, not very fancy -- turns out our Golden prefers that over his main crate now lol, go figure.
