I think that a user implimented poll/survey tool similar to the one on the main page would be a nice feature to have. Something that would generate a nice graph or something.

I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this.

are you asking for a section just for polls or polls imbedded in the message board? just curious...

Polls as part of the message boards. Something with a link were you could vote, view the results, make/read comments...
