Model # 42H83The picture has been wavy for about 2 months and is getting progressively worse. From what I've read, the problem is likely a bad capacitor or something on the convergence board....Looks like a fairly easy fix if you have some experience with this type thing.Start the bidding at $0.Also, I would be open to the idea of paying someone to fix it if they know what they're doing...I'm just not gonna pay hundreds of dollars to take it to a repair shop.

Hell, I'll take it for $10. Its actually like 10-some bad capacitors on the hyper board if I remember correctly, its a pain in the ass . . . . . but my gf keeps pestering me to get her a TV, so what the hell.

hmmm...I dunno about this one. Soldering 11 SMC caps after having to jump through hoops to pull the board to get at them...maybe I'd go 5 dolla.

put on craigslist free...and keep a bat handy for the crazies.better yet, just pick a nice day, set that shit on the curb and post a FREE!!!! ad on craigslist. it'll be gone within a couple hours tops.
