"because" by the beatles is a variation of beethoven's moonlight sonata, or so i've read[Edited on December 4, 2009 at 12:32 PM. Reason : misspelled because]
12/4/2009 12:31:52 PM
now that you point it out, it IS in the same keyI guess by that logic, you could technically call it a variation just based on the keybut I'd have to play through the first movement to see if it really is a variation based on any portion of the melody of harmony

so I was going to serenely and peacefully post a couple of classical pieces I enjoyed (instead of creating a new thread), but even though it's several years later, I'd like to harp on this particular post:On 1/10/2010 at 11:09:45 PM, Chop said:

at first glance, this Kin Hubbard fellow seems about as historically relevant as L. Ron Hubbardjesus christif you were quoting that seriously, I hope you've killed yourself in the meantime
9/13/2013 3:14:28 PM
upon reading more of his quotes, I really hope he killed himself as well - and I sincerely mean thatI'm not reading anymore of this bullshitAmerican's greatest fucking humorist... give me a god damn breakmore like, stupid fucking commentary on political/cultural issues of the time which were serious and he apparently didn't seem to understand at all, so he thought making short quips about them in cartoons was funny, but really he was just a fucking dumbass that doesn't understand anything about anything (anywhere) - and obviously took himself overly seriouslythe only good thing about him I've seen is that all of his quotations are in italics
9/13/2013 3:18:58 PM
yeah he sounds like a big dummy
