The other day I found a 2-3 inch long paint mark/scratch on my bumper It's not deep at all but it's definitely noticeable. Anyone recommend a good way to remove it without damaging the paint? I've never used a car paint/scratch remover and was thinking about using that. I searched google but everyone has a different solution and opinion.

If it hasn't broken through the clear coat, you can polish it out with polishing/rubbing compound and a soft cloth. Rubbing compound is the more aggressive of the two, but keep in mind that they are both liquid sandpaper and if you rub too hard you will cut right through the clear coat. If the scratch is deep into the paint layer, I would suggest polishing out as much as you can, washing the car, then applying touch up paint with a tiny hobby paintbrush or toothpick.
