http://www.newsobserver.comN&O rolled out a new website. My EYES! It is incredibly busy and difficult to read/navigate for my taste. I appreciated the simplicity of the old website and ability to see all of the important stories in front of you, rather than scrolling through a flash slideshow. Also, you can't read an article now without zigzagging around ads.Am I just old school, or does the new design turn you off as well?

More like "Why pay for an entire website overhaul when you can barely afford to keep most of your staff on payroll?"

I don't remember what it used to look like.

^^^^I'm guessing they wanted to match the design of Charlotte Observer and probably only have one web content team, although I would have gone to the NewsObserver site design rather than the new/CharlotteObserver one.[Edited on September 23, 2009 at 10:15 AM. Reason : .]

3 ads you have to minimize and 1 popup for any page change is crazy. I never have gone their and never will.

Doesn't look bad to me, but I'm pretty good at the internet.

I like this better than the old website actually.
