Looks very promising but I have concerns

the first concern with no research is the massive amount of star power... sometimes it just fucks it all up for some cosmic reason (or real, I don't know OCEANS ELEVEN IS A FUCKING FLUKE PEOPLE)

the other two are real and come with a little research

IMDB shows that the director and screenplay writer are nobodies in those prospective roles so that sucks

Grant Heslov (the director) has done some other stuff... acting and producing but not really successfully directing

Peter Straughan (the screenplay writer) doesn't really show up on the radar in any real way

Saw it last night. Was not funny at all, which sucked because my expectations were so high. McGregor's character was one of the worst characters in any film I have seen. Nobody in my group could figure out what the hell was going on and it was pretty much a series of failed jokes.

I dont understand how a movie with such potential and great actors could fail so much, but it really did. I wouldnt recommend seeing this.

Literally all the funny parts are in the trailers. Plot is weak. Characters are bland.

I'll probably like it.

I generally can't stand movies that are 100% front to back "hey this is meant to be funny so laugh at it".

I tend to enjoy really, really dry humor. almost anti-humor.

There were funny parts, but for the most part, the movie wasn't that good. The plot was very "uninvolving" as someone mentioned. The ending was just awful. You're left with the sense of "wtf did I just watch? What was the point supposed to be?" In a normal comedy movie, that's fine, but the movie isn't very funny.

I thought this movie was pretty funny. A lot of people that used to post on this site have terrible senses of humor. Hopefully they are all dead now.
