did anyone catch this over the weekend? Heard some interviews and they were expecting some success due to it having some of The Hangover gang involved on and off camera, but it only made 5.4 mil in the box office.

Kinda funny to see Jeremy Piven in a movie that bombs considering his character on Entourage.

I thought it was pretty damn funny. It was over the top and ridiculous throughout, but it seemed like they had a million comedic people in that movie and they were all trying to upstage each other. If you're going in looking for ways to shit on the movie, I'm sure you could find plenty but if you're just wanted something to laugh at and grab some funny one-liners, it does the trick.

JEREMY PIVEN LOUD LOL

I think Piven had become pretty much Seinfeld'd where everyone sees him as Ari, and that loud, aggressive character is the only one he's going to be able to playWhich he had always been to a lesser extent before Entorage blew up, but now its full blown

I like everyone in this movie... and I still thought it was the worst that I had seen in a long time. Maybe 3 total laughs for half a sec... maybe...

I don't really watch TV, but this thread is the first time I've ever heard of this movie.Might end up seeing it if I can convince some friends to go with me, though.

I hardly saw any advertisements for this movie before seeing it, it wasn't put out there much at all.I also thought this movie was hilarious. Not as funny as The Hangover, but worth the $9.50.

I wonder where the huge disconnect is on the advertising where some people (like me) saw so many advertisements for this movie that I was sick of the movie before it even came out and those who felt it was barely promoted. as I said earlier, this movie was hyped on every website and every TV channel I was on (i don't watch much tv but every channel I was on it seemed was played at least every other commercial break for the 2 weeks leading up to it). Maybe it was just coincidental, but normally I'm a little behind on movie releases (unless its a specific movie I've been waiting for for awhile) simply because I don't watch a lot of TV, but this one was in my face non-stop.to quote thegoodlife3:"I thought it was one of the most over-promoted movies of the year"

I never saw an ad or commercial for it, or heard about it, until I watched Jeremy Piven's interview w/ Conan and then Jimmy Fallon one night. we DVR everything for the most part (we record both Fallon & Conan) so we don't watch commercials. I didn't see any website ads for it.

I saw tons of commericals for this movie. my guess is they targeted the advertising to the type they thought would watch it based on what they watch on tv, instead of doing broad advertising overall on all stations/channels.

of course...we watch comedy central, and i'm sure we would've seen an ad if not for DVR.

It was pretty funny not as funny as the hangover, but I enjoyed it. James Van der beek is my nigga!
