Shouldn't comment on fb directly, but today's attacks appear to be a politically motivated ddos. Needless to say, it was a fun day

By trying to silence him, they've increased awareness of him a hundredfold at minimum. What a brilliant plan.

The US government only needed to silence him for a couple hours while they executed their carefully thought out plan (and several people, I'm sure). If that guy could have tweeted "Under attack by the West, DAMN AMERICA" it would have been even worse publicity.Or he could have got word out to other anarchists that the shit was going down, and helped them get away.

Might seem funny to you, but social networks are getting the attention of a LOT of governments and activist groups alike.

the only cool thing about twitter is u can really easily goatese litterally millions of people at a time.

If you're important enough to have millions of followers, seems like there'd be a pretty large blowback if you posted a goatse?[Edited on August 7, 2009 at 2:20 AM. Reason : s]

^If I was on twitter and had millions of followers, I would gladly goatse them. Then laugh for days. Fuck twatters.

nah you dont need any followers. During the iran protests all you had to do was put in some attention getting news bite + shortened link to goatse + #iranelection and not only do thousands of people click it but they repost it without even clicking to verify the link[Edited on August 7, 2009 at 10:51 AM.
