This thing is a nice size work desk. It's in VERY good shape. Solid wood. The wear on the leading front edge, shown in the picture below, otherwise, the desk is "perfect." The glossy finish is still amazing. Dimensions are 66" wide, 30" long, 29" tall. It is easy to disassemble, with the largest piece being the desktop (64"x29"). I was using it previously as a TV desk with the drawers facing the wall No longer need this and it's now taking up space in the living room. VERY sturdy. Asking $250. That desk does appear to be pretty solid. Looks real nice. I can't afford it and already have a gratuitous amount of desks, but good luck selling (and moving) it.

^I appreciate it. $40 is a good starting bid, but I'm going to need more than that I'm in no rush to sell it. I wish I had a use for this desk, however, considering how nice it is I'm hesitant to let it go. I already have 2 more desks in the office Nice desks like these are much more expensive if you go buy them new at office centers/depots. And as for moving it, it's actually easy, since it disassembles so easily. I think its like 28 screws total and that's it. As for the wear mark on the leading edge, it's mostly just worn finish. If you were to sand the surface down and refinish it, you could make it looking as good as new again.[Edited on August 5, 2009 at 3:29 PM. Reason : .]

I'm interested in your desk. I have an one that doesn't have drawers and my wife hates it (and I could use some drawers).Oh shit, I see you're asking $250.What type of wood is it?
8/5/2009 3:52:11 PM
you can get something like this for <$20 at ncsu surplus

^^The desk is oak (quite heavy). I am aware that you can purchase a similar sytle computer desks at Office Depot for $100 new. However, they use laminated/engineered wood and are not going to be of the same quality/durability. The cheapest I've seen for something like this with solid oak or maple wood was $500. Most are much higher.^ that doesn't help me one bit [Edited on August 5, 2009 at 4:39 PM. Reason : .]
