I need to have someone remove some leaves and limbs/shrubs in my yard. A picture of the two piles is below. Let me know if you would be interested in doing this or could you guys recommend someone?

Yeah would be nice to be able to burn but I'm in the city.I'm a little reluctant to put it on CL.

^too much for me. i would need a trailer and some tarps, which i don't have in raleigh.
8/1/2009 11:27:51 PM
You can probably borrow my parents' trailer, and matt and I have a tarp...as do my folks.
8/2/2009 9:28:31 AM

I'll give you $200 if you can make it happen NeuseRvrRat.

That whole "15 bag limit" on yard waste in Raleigh sucks. It took me 4 weeks to get rid of all the waste I made a month ago when I cut down some trees and trimmed everything in the yard.
8/3/2009 3:29:22 PM
^^you got somewhere to haul this shit?
8/3/2009 3:37:33 PM
I was guessing the dump off of 64I may have found someone though - if they can't then if you are interested I'll let you know.[Edited on August 3, 2009 at 3:50 PM. Reason : dd]
8/3/2009 3:49:17 PM
how far is that from your house?have you ensured that they accept yard waste?i might can work this out if you're serious about that $200
8/3/2009 3:50:30 PM
I have hauled yard waste to a private landfill in N. Raleigh. It was near 540 and Capital Blvd. It was only about $10 iirc.
8/3/2009 3:53:11 PM
usually it's much less for me and i just toss it in my apt complex's dumpster
8/3/2009 3:55:02 PM
Haha - yeah not sure with this that would be a good idea.
8/3/2009 3:56:27 PM
Might help... I'd give them a call and see:http://tiny.cc/ER63l What can I do with my yard waste if I forget to set it out on my regular collection day?You can either hold the material until your next scheduled day the following week or take it to the City's Yard Waste Center at 900 N. New Hope Road for a fee. The Yard Waste Center is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for recycling yard waste materials. Note: If you hold the material until your next collection, be sure to remove it from the curbside. Material left at the curbside is subject to a $50 fine under the SWS Code.*** NC recycles 26% of its waste stream, composts 6%, sends 67% to landfills, and incinerates 1%. *** NC Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources 2003 data. For More Information Contact:Bianca M. Yep done that - this is too much and would have to be bagged in clear bags and the bushes would have to be in cans or bundled in small piles. Needless to say - way to much.

I live off Ridge Road right near the Beltline. The dump is the one off 64 and that dump is only for yard waste. I'm around all day tomorrow.

i'm busy all day tomorrow. let mentaldave look at it. it'll be at least two weeks before i can get to this. sorry. this odd job stuff has bloomed into almost more than i bargained for and i'm beginning to have to turn down jobs to maintain my sanity
8/7/2009 11:53:03 PM
i can help for a cut, NRR....
8/8/2009 12:49:08 AM
this job will have to be done on the weekend because i'm sure the dump closes too early for me to get this done in the evenings after my full time job. i can do it solo in a day on the weekend, it's just waiting for a free weekend to come around that makes it tough. i only get to see my gf on the weekends and we've got plans for the remainder of this weekend. next weekend i have a hauling job for a tdubber that i've had scheduled for over a month and the rest of next weekend will be devoted to my sister's bday and my gf. the next weekend i will have a mowing job that i can do on sunday, so i could do this on saturday.if anyone else can get to it, please do. if no one else can, i'll work it in as soon as i can.^i appreciate the offer to help. i generally like flying solo on these jobs. i know nothing of your work ethic, but, honestly, i find that most folks won't keep up with me. this is another reason why i like to charge by the job rather than by the hour. NRR hours and whoever-the-hell-else hours are usually not equivalent. please don't take this the wrong way. i work very hard when i'm doing these jobs and i'm proud of that. i'm not saying you wouldn't work as hard as or harder than me, i'm just explaining the gross generalization that guides my decisions on these matters. if a job were truly too big for me to handle alone, you'd probably be one of the first tdubbers i got up with b/c you seem like a hard-working dude. however, if i get a free saturday, i shouldn't have any problem doing this alone, so there's really no reason for me not to do so. i know it sounds like i'm tooting my own horn, but i've gotten the short end of the stick way too many times when i was working with other people.so i pretty much just spilled my guts on this whole hauling and odd job service. i enjoy helping y'all out and saving tdubbers money while making some beer money for myself, but i'm really burning my candle at both ends. it hasn't happened in this thread, but it seems that sometimes folks get pissed when i can't jump right on whatever they need me to haul/fix/mow/clean and i figured i needed to give tww some perspective on where i stand with this stuff. i hope this doesn't derail the thread. just wanted to throw some explanations out for the classifieds community.[Edited on August 8, 2009 at 1:23 AM. Reason : pretty sure this is the longest post i've ever made on tww]
