Going to be camping here with the gf for a few days. We'll be going to Cedar Point Sunday and Monday. Is there anything in the area that I just have to see, or anything on the way (We'll be taking I-77)?

Cool things in Sandusky (Im from Cleveland):

1) Cedar Point is ridiculous fun
2a) The highway that takes you to Cedar Point
2b) The highway that takes you out of Cedar Point
3) Thats it...and 2a/2b are out of necessity

Cedar Point FTW

Also, Kelleys Island is (debatably) cool and I think a ferry leaves from Sandusky.

Put-in-Bay hands down is a much better party scene and attract many more tourists than Kellys. The've got ferrys that leave from Port Clinton and Sandusky (Jet Express) and a cheaper ferry that leaves somewhere in the middle of nowhere at the end of route 53 (Miller Ferry). The Jet Express drops you off right in the middle of downtown Put-in-Bay and the Miller Ferry drops off about 2 miles from town.

Put-in-Bay is a very good time. I definately recommend spending a night there. Also, the last ferry leaves at like 1 a.m. so have a plan if you miss it.

lot of good golf courses, water parks and fishing there, i spent a week up there on a business trip last year, they put us up in the kalahari resort with the indoor water park, a hospitality suite with ungodly amounts of alcohol, and took us out charter fshing
