well its not responding at all and in the past week it has went off three times on its own with out being set. when it goes off it will respond to my remote> it will lock and unlock and then not do anything. may be a short somewhere?

who installed it? most places do a lifetime guarantee on their work and i know dei (viper, pyhton, clifford)stuff carries a lifetime warranty.
