I'm going to the Antiques Roadshow tomorrow at the NC State Fairgrounds. Sure, they'll end up looking at my junk, but I figured I'd ask you guys firstI was gonna take a 1983 Wolfpack National Champs basketballand some 87-88 acc championship uncut cards with most of the players' autographs and jimmy v's down in the right corneri imagine the cards are worth squat (even with the mighty vinny del negro's hancock)... there's some condition issues around the edgesbut i think the ball might have some valuejust thought i'd see if anyone had seen anything with jimmy v's autograph with a price attached to it in recent years... i'm not gonna sell nothin' just wanted to get it insured (which is why i'm goin' to the Roadshow tomorrow)[Edited on June 26, 2009 at 5:58 PM. I'll guess $200 max on the ball. All the stuff that sells right now has been certified by some agency and I'm sure it costs $$$ to get that done.

Are you hard-pressed for money??I don't know why you would want to sell that stuff.

it totally depends on where you sell it. for example, the ball if was owned by the Wolfpack Club and they were doing auction of merchandise (which they often do), the ball would probably go for about $300. just selling it on your own i would guess $150-$200ill buy it for $100 haha

I wish I would have known that Antique Roadshow was coming. I would have liked to show them my 1930 FIFA World Cup medals. They are worth about $30 dollars on ebay, but it would have been nice to show them off. As for the value of an item, a lot of it depends on where you sell it. I've seen NC State Sports Illustrateds being sold for $20 to $75 dollars before at local collector shops. The ones that say Miami 1983 National Champions were selling for about $5 in Raleigh. They would probably be worth more in Miami.[Edited on June 27, 2009 at 10:51 PM. Reason : .]

I have a program from the Textile Bowl game circa 90/91ish that he signed, I've never bothered to look into what it's worth though because I've never had a desire to get rid of it.
