Bought a kegerator yesterday, and need to get my CO2 tank filled. I found that American Brewmaster does it, but it's a good 40 minute drive from durham. Anyone know other places that'll do it? Maybe paintball supply type places? Google isn't much help on this.

Welders Supply - maps.google.com5812 Lease Ln, Raleigh, NC - (919) 788-0664When I had a soda fountain, I used them. Super cheap compared to shops where they do party stuff. This is a real welders supply shop. They will not fill your tank. They will exchange it with one of theirs. If you have some nice shiney tank you want to keep, this isnt the place for you. I still have a 20 pound tank sitting around if you want to buy it from me to exchange (cost something like $120 to start).

haven't you heard, CO2 is evil.

find a fire extinguisher place. they refill, no exchanges. my 10 lb. tank cost $10 to fill. had to pay 20 to get it tested though since it was out of date.

I think Carolina Brewing Company in Holly Springs can refill CO2 tanks now

Mike Turner at Simplex Grinnell. They're off of Poole Rd near the beltline. I've been refilling my co2 there for the last few years.540 Civic Blvd. Ste. 10527610[Edited on June 25, 2009 at 4:01 PM. Reason : .]

Machine and Welding SupplyNot sure where it is but I know that they have a location in Durham. Like with Welders Supply they won't fill your tank but you can trade a 15# tank for about $16.
