6/14/2009 12:56:17 AM
Wow! You're really talented! That is great work. Seriously. How much do you charge for one of those?
6/14/2009 1:06:07 AM
yeah you gotta name a price here to begin with. Then get ridiculed for said price until you say that you have a PM bid for such amount. (Be prepared for the "My friend/uncle/sister's brother makes the same thing for X amount") Then you might find a couple people will buy what you got. It's TWW way....

Beer Pong Tables are $95 and are custom made when you orderWe can do football fields and basketball courts. We can do them for any team as well.Ladder toss is $45. You get to pick any 2 colors.Cornhole allows you to pick any 2 colors. It is $70.Ladder toss and cornhole are very sturdy and are much better than any of the stuff that you would buy at somewhere like Dicks. We can fill most orders with 1 week. One can't simply buy a custom beer pong table. It has to be made in house, and can never leave that house.
6/22/2009 6:27:11 PM
^true, thats how we started. I made a nc state football field for my apartment and my friend made the basketball court. Then we kept getting compliments at parties and stuff and then people started asking if we make tables for them, so we figured there might be some other people out there who like them too
6/22/2009 6:58:10 PM
price is way too expensive there bud. i know you're tryin to turn a profit but damn, keep in mind it's a bit of wood with paint on it.
6/22/2009 7:07:11 PM
ah, well then that works then.
6/22/2009 9:00:21 PM
^^ you've obviously never made a good set of cornhole boards then. $70 is extremely reasonable.
6/23/2009 11:21:13 AM
^my post was in reference to the pong tables being $95but you're right 70 is actually really good for cornhole.
6/23/2009 12:19:35 PM
I think $95 is pretty reasonable. If you were gonna do it yourself the materials alone would run you almost $95.
6/23/2009 1:14:13 PM
maybe things have changed or i'm just out of the loop, but i remember 3/4'' plywood being $26 a board. figure $30 more for paint, finish, brushes, stickers and you're at about $60 total. If that's not correct, could someone else write an expense outline so we can see how it comes out to $90?
6/23/2009 1:48:44 PM
^labor?
6/23/2009 2:35:59 PM
Labor for something like this isn't worth $30, atleast not to me.i suppose if you have no idea what the hell you're doing and have never done any physical work in your life, $95 isn't bad, but i'd feel ashamed to tell people i spent 100 bucks on a piece of wood with paint on it.and as noted earlier, a big chunk of the fun from having a beer pong table is making it.
6/23/2009 2:55:13 PM
if it takes them 3 hrs that's only $10 /hrstop trolling the dude. he's offering a product for which there is demand at a reasonable price.
6/23/2009 3:03:20 PM
and if it takes them 5 hours it's only $6/hr if people want to spend that much money on a pong table, great, good for them for having the money to waste and i wish them the best as do business with the OP.but for people who are just reading the boards, maybe seeing an ad for pong tables and deciding that they want one but don't have the money to buy from this guy, im' saying that they can get it at a fraction of the cost.
6/23/2009 3:11:57 PM
^gtfo you fuckwit - if i cut vinyl for that shit, either to mask off for painting or in lieu of painting, it'd cost 50$ retail and around $15 in actual materials (wholesale) now troll elsewhere cleatusfilth - these are reasonable prices for these hand made items and not every shitass college kid has loads of time on their hands to make stuff like this.[Edited on June 23, 2009 at 3:14 PM. for the cornhole boards we normally do a white vertical stripe that is the width of hole, with the rest of the board being red. Also we put some kind of text or symbol in the white stripe, like a block s, or NC STATE, or somethin like thatbut we will also do most special requests if someone has a design that they wantalso the boards are 2 feet by 4 feet with folding legs
6/23/2009 6:35:23 PM

6/25/2009 1:34:24 PM
add some pictures man!and the one picture appears to be a quality product and the prices are very reasonable, so I'm not sure what the hell stupidfilth is coming from.what size are the pong tables? do you do smaller ones, like a tailgating version?
6/25/2009 2:06:29 PM
^i know were trying to get some pictures but were pretty computer retarded and we usually deliver everything we make right after we finish it and forgot to take pictues but were working on getting some we usually make the pong boards 4'x8' but we could make them smaller so that theyre easier to move around
6/25/2009 2:32:56 PM

If you are going to pay that much just get a REALLY big hole driller. they attach to your drill but cut in a circle.
9/1/2009 8:34:28 AM
that was only $25...and a 6" hole saw (drill attachment) is $40 at home depot...don't see one online at harbor freight]
9/1/2009 8:38:37 AM
Its doesnt matter what it costs, buy it, use it, return it.
