Somebody who would rather us all be terrified of the evil flu which is going to destroy and zombify the whole world, instead of simply enjoying our weekend. Also, somebody who just found out about it at midnight, or who was put on a non-disclosure timeline which was put into effect because the university didn't want word on this going out until they were absolutely sure both students had H1N1 and that there were no other infected on the campus that they know of.
6/13/2009 2:14:59 AM
so what if you get swine flu and then get better? like how many unreported cases are there do they estimate?
6/13/2009 2:20:50 AM
i just want to know why the media totally dropped the whoel "SWINE FUL FRENZY". It seems like it is a bigger deal now then it was when there were making a big deal about it.

6/13/2009 9:58:01 AM

6/13/2009 12:24:28 PM

Student health is a joke. Their mental health folks just made me angrier and more depressed. They also completely forgot who I was in the span of about five days, though I met with them for more than an hour and discussed my issues/concerns. The joy of state-run health enterprises. We should actively work to get the university to burn the student health building to the ground, to fire everybody that works there, and to then put a parking deck in that location with a special bus stop that will take students to Rex Hospital or Western Wake hospital (both of which have urgent care clinics near them) so we can get healthcare that doesn't consist of some moron that works for the state prejudging us as whiny spoiled college students that just want to skip class.

1. the government needed a crisis to push nationalized health care2. enter "H1N1"3. ...4. Profit? I think not.
6/15/2009 2:53:27 PM
And here I was thinking that the crisis was paying over 15% of gross pay for health insurance and still being one accident away from complete financial ruin.
6/15/2009 3:56:09 PM
I agree with you that the system is broken, but there is a better "fix"...see -> message_topic.aspx?topic=568132&page=1#12989644[Edited on June 15, 2009 at 4:07 PM. Reason : short]

Oh, don't get me wrong. "Throw unlimited supply of money, print more when needed" doesn't really work for getting health care costs under control. If anything it just makes the costs go up-

yall gotta quit fuckin pigs all the time
