if you want linux, 2 hours less battery time, and a .3 megapixel built in cam i would clearly suggest that deal

Check the specs. It does have a camera and mic. I bought my son one of these (not exactly, but close). They are nice. They are easy to carry, relatively cheap, and fast for what they do (web browsing, email, etc.).

The cheap ones have a solid state hard drive (4gig), linux, low res camera, and a 3 cell battery (instead of 6). They are fine, if that's all you need. But don't compare the < $200 ones with the > $300 ones

Just remember, with a 4gig hard drive, you won't be able to load many (any?) other applications on it ... or store much music ...

If all you want is to surf the web and do skype go for it ... for me, I'd spend the extra $75.

no i was just saying that the cheaper one on woot has a lower resolution webcam, plus the hard drive is obviously a big deal like ^ said if you are using it as your only laptop
