You have to know what to say... Customer support usually just reads from a script in front of them. Get a technical person to talk to them. Usually if you start throwing technical lingo around they'll get confused. You have to be persistent and work them over a little. ^^^ I think he's saying that his regular data/video/music CDs are not being identified at all by the drive, as in you put in a CD and it spins up and then doesn't show it as having any contents.
