This is applies to both NC State and the Hurricanes and in between everything else in there, I figured we should just go ahead and have a thread about it instead of bouncing back in forth between the canes threads and basketball threads.

This blog: http://canesvision-hd.blogspot.com/ can tell you and keep you updated with everything you could possibly want to know about the transition they are doing... while most of you will just want to see what we will actually see each night in the arena... I don't see much about that just yet.

I kind of like static displays for time and score (scores just don't look right if they're not boxy), but I understand that most people want it to be flashy. I'd still prefer only organ music at hockey games, so I know I'm in the minority. Super psyched about HD, though.

Yeah I agree, but it looks like that is going away everywhere... unless the keep the scoreboard panels in each endzone above the ribbon board.

There are ten levels and an elevator inside it. On gameday there will be people working inside of it during gameplay. Also all the spare parts and equipment will be stored within.

It will stretch from 20 yardline to 20 yardline and hangs ~90 ft over the playing surface
