mine went out a few weeks ago...$60 installed with the home warranty. I think I was quoted around $160 for installaion w/o using the warranty. It did seem like a fairly straight forward installation tho...Should be able to get one through any repair shop/supplier with the model information.

There are MSC and Grainger branches in Raleigh:MSC: 2300 Westinghouse BlvdGrainger: 4820 Signett Dr.http://www.mscdirect.comhttp://www.grainger.comGo to either/both of those and search for condenser fan motor and use the menus to spec it out to what you need. I dunno whether either place will have the item in stock at those particular locations but you can always call and ask. Looks like they run $60 to $400 depending on what you need.[Edited on May 26, 2009 at 2:33 PM. Reason : ]

Yea, the cap checked out okay. it would start to spin then hard lock. Think probably somethign broke inside the motor.
