1991 cb250(mine) for 1986 vt500

-The cb is in slightly better physical shape.
-cb has 6k miles, vt has 17k
-cb gets 75mpg, vt gets 50
-cb is chain drive, vt is shaft
-cb is 5 speed, vt is 6
-cb is air cooled, vt is water cooled
-cb require valve adjustments, the vt's are hydraulic
-cb has 19hp, vt has 49hp
-cb is obviously newer

I'm leaning towards making the trade, but I would like the input of anyone who is willing to give it(and half knows what the fuck they're talking about) .

age diff between the 2 is insignficant. ride the vt and if you like it more trade
