is just as fast going up as it is coming down. Uploading several gigs at 50 kilobytes per second is painful. [Edited on May 18, 2009 at 3:52 PM. Reason : *]

^^ I'm not leaving the state just to get different internet.

^^^ I'd be shocked if that were true. I've never heard of an ISP that didn't make ratio assumptions when doing consumer capacity planning. Can you link me?

^^ Hahah, I was thinking the exact same thing when I read this thread earlier this morning. I think we have NCSU logins now so it might be possible to get some bandwidth on campus via nomad or something. I'm about to hit up someone in chit chat that is still a student and see if I can bring my box by and hook it up to state and let it rip.
5/19/2009 11:17:09 AM
^you're just now catching on to the fact that you can do this?
5/19/2009 11:57:44 AM
That I can do what? I just became a student again...yesterday. Or were you referring to using a state student for their bandwidth thing?[Edited on May 19, 2009 at 12:31 PM. Reason : ,]
