I've got a 5th Gen. iPod Video that needs repair. I tried to repair the battery myself (with instructions and a repair kit), but when the new battery did not work either, I took it out and ended up not being able to put the iPod back together. I was hoping maybe someone with more technical skills would want to buy this from me?

I'm always wary of things like this, because chances are you damaged something while taking it apart yourself (hence the new battery "not working either").

Yes, it is still taken apart because I could not put it back together myself The little rubber things on the sides (that cushion it) slid out of place and I cannot seem to get them back in the correct place.

I can understand your wariness because I was quite frustrated when the new battery didn't work either. I should not have attempted to do this myself. I can post some pictures of it here in a little bit. I promise I am not trying to scam anyone. I just want to get rid of it! I'm not even trying to make $ off of this.

so why don't you give it away for free? its obvious that its no use to you, and you aren't even sure if its possible to be fixed. just sell the accessories

I didn't say I wasn't willing to give it away for free. I put "FS" at the top, but I guess I was mainly referring to the accessories.
