4/16/2009 2:07:45 PM
they say he's from baltimore, but isn't he from greenville?
4/16/2009 2:08:24 PM
He moved from Baltimore.
4/16/2009 2:35:05 PM
Paging simonn!Haha is our $20 bet still on?

^^^
4/16/2009 3:24:26 PM
New England's gonna get him with one of their 2nd rounders.
4/16/2009 3:35:54 PM
^I hope not, I can't cheer for them ever
4/16/2009 9:51:37 PM
just please do not let him go to the Panthers. he will never see the field.
4/16/2009 10:05:13 PM
let's go chargers. i don't watch nfl, but it would be one less stat line for me to look at if he and philip were on the same team.
4/16/2009 10:05:50 PM
he's gonna go to the eagles..in the second round of our mock draft
4/16/2009 10:13:43 PM
4/17/2009 12:04:49 AM
^^^Don't think he would get much PT on the Chargers. I would like to see him go somewhere where he will have a chance to compete and get PT.
4/17/2009 1:31:24 AM
why not? LT will be done in a year or two. i don't think sproles is a fulltime back. if he did go to the chargers he could get some carries until he took over
4/17/2009 2:06:17 AM
I, too, think that the Chargers would be a good fit. LT isn't going to be around forever and Andre would probably see more at least #2 back carries by the end of his second year in SD.

4/17/2009 5:14:31 AM
found it. i'm not one to renege on a bet, but i'm not honoring this:i'm a huge andre brown fan, but i'd almost put money that he will not be on an active nfl roster this time next year, injuries or not.I got money says he will make a team....
4/17/2009 5:53:58 AM
I could see Brown to the Chargers. I read at one point that Norv Turner had mentioned P-Riv was "in his ear" telling him how good Brown was. I really don't want to see him on the Patriots though, but I'd be happy with the Eagles.
4/17/2009 9:14:06 AM
He is not going to the Chargers.
4/17/2009 9:19:31 AM
Chargers don't have a 2nd round this year.He won't go #16, and he'll likely be gone by the time their third rolls around. Unless they move back they won't get him.
4/18/2009 5:14:13 PM
^^^ P-Riv was here 2000-2003 and Brown was here 2004-2008. They never played together. So unless P-Riv is scouting former NC State player's for the sake of being teammates with them, that doesn't hold water.

The PATS like him A LOT
4/19/2009 10:15:10 PM
^nooooo, that will make him useless as a fantasy back

no shit, really?btw, Brown gave a really good interview on Monday to the 850 guys
4/22/2009 9:05:42 AM
not bad
4/26/2009 11:42:07 PM
really woulda thought he went like 3rd round. oh well though, not a bad team, i can root for the gmen
4/26/2009 11:49:39 PM
He's going to have to work HARD in camp if he's going to beat out Danny Ware for the 3 spot.
4/27/2009 12:47:42 AM
The Chargers would have taken him five spots later, which I think could have been a better spot. Good luck to him winning out the RB3 spot with the Giants, or the Giants keeping him on as the 4th while he develops.

Congratulations Andre for being selected by the NY Giants. You were always a class act, and I really appreciated you taking the time to meet with my Upward Bound Students during the summer of your Freshman year at NCSU. Best of luck with everything in NY man!
