I bought a house in December and I am in the process of re-doing the kitchen. I've added a new stove and a new fridge, but I need new cabinet doors. The cabinets themselves are a nice, brown solid wood. But the doors I have on them are a white, cheap ugly brand....I wanted to get some nice wood cabinet doors to replace them with. Can anyone suggest where I can find some?

Lowe's isn't that bad from what I remember. My parents redid their kitchen a while ago and we got cabinets that were wooden frames with glass panels...I think it was from Lowes.

you're just refacing cabinets, which any regular supplier of cabinets should be able to help you out

i was assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that a lot of cabinets came in some sort of standard range of common sizes. does that not happen?and no, not every style. like how lowes only carries maybe 3 different types of cabinets...yeah, same as that.[Edited on April 14, 2009 at 1:58 PM. Reason : ]

IKEA.They sell cabinet doors and hinges and many styles and colors at a very affordable price. They also have a free kitchen design software that has everything they sell in it so pricing a redesign is easy.

If you're around the triangle, try Hercules Sales in Roxboro. I think they sell to individuals as well as businesses. Ask for Anthony. (He's a bigtime Pack fan.) You can order any size by sixteenths, and get any style and wood. They also do finishing in their place if you want it. Incidentally, I have no financial connection with them, I've just been ordering from them for many years and Anthony's a good guy.
