I know I can search this

but I thought I would ask Tdub to give me some reviews on which attorney to go with for a civil case. Having issues with a shop that did some work for me and want to consult a lawyer to help me out.

Let me know what you guys think

Yessir, like assholes.

Most stink.

And some are more vocal than others. Most garage regulars can relate this one to me.

is this going to be small claims? are you looking for someone to represent you in court or are you just trying to see if you have a case?

most attorneys will not waste their times in small claims. its not worth it to them because their fees can quickly add up to more than what you'd win in small claims. if you're hiring an attorney, you need to be above small claims amount.

that being said, i'd go to an attorney for an hour consult, get their opinion on your situation, and then they'll prob tell you to go downtown and fill out the paperwork yourself for small claims. i have several recommendations i'll pm you.
