I will answer any questions, and I will post her frequently with nice fixes, regedits, hacks, and all that jazz. I'd like to start off by posting that Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional has a native in-call recording feature, and here is the article on it

"How to Enable Windows Mobile Native In-Call Recording

Some of you might not be aware that Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional has its own, built-in, default in-call recording solution, it's just that it's not active by default. You don't need any other third party solutions, just need to enable it via some registry edits or with a cab we've put together to make the process automatic.

Method 1 - registry edit:
Create a key called "AudioRecording" in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\" and inside that key you've created, add a new dword called "Enabled" with a value of 00000001. Create a key called "Voice" inside "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft" and inside that new key create two dword entries called "EnableCallRecordMenuItem" and "AllowInCallRecording", both with the same value of 00000001. Soft reset your device and you're set!

Method 2 - install our cab:
Download the automated process and install it to device, followed by a soft reset.

Successfull activation of native in-call recording will put a "Record" option in your in call soft menu. Tapping "Record" will record from that point on and save the wave format file you've just recorded to Device\My Documents\Notes.

Note: Device has to be application unlocked for this to work. Tested with HTC Touch HD, HTC Touch Pro and HTC Touch Diamond. "

If you have a Treo Pro, there is a lot of small shit that's annoying that I can tell you how to fix, like for example how to reset without taking off the battery cover, and how to turn off the dial pad tone.

Enjoy!

Do they allow tethering on their network? IS it unlocked on your phone? Is it included in your data package, or is it a separate fee for it? I know these questions are trivial but I need to know the answer to them before I can suggest anything.

Well if that's the case, then you should search a reliable forum specifically for your Tmobile phone. Maybe you could search the Xda Developers website. It should be at most a registry tweak, and at the least just installing a .cab

yeah, allshadow.com is a board for the device. i also post on modaco regularly, they ha ve great writeups for xp but i have had no luck with vista.

i had everything working on my old smt5600, but i haven't really done any customization to this phone yet (and may not at all, t-mobile did a good job with their custom ui)
