It is an absolute abomination to cook something as perfect as raw salmon in any way.

Are you serious?
Are you fucking serious?
Salmon is 100000000000% tastier that anything you can catch around here.
And breaded and fried? You just don't like fish, do you?
If the only way you'll eat fish is breaded and fried, you officially lose your privilege to comment on other fish recipes.

Okay, I don't have a favorite.
Also, smoked salmon is fucking awesome. Even that kind you buy prepackaged is good.

hmm i think i'm gonna make that one tonight...though the cooking time seems a bit long. don't you want some red left...or is it all sposed to be cooked thru/pink?

firmer stuff like wahoo, king mackerel, cobia gets cut in steaks and grilled w/ whatever herbs and spices i wanna put on it and some lemon. i also like to cube up kings and cobia, batter and fry it, and have fish nuggets sometimes.

large, softer fish like rockfish (probably "stripers", to you), red drum, black drum, and sheephead get baked in a pseudo-fish stew with taters, onions, eggs, bacon, and tomato juice and spices and shit

i like to broil flounder w/ whatever seasonings i feel like having

all kinds of fish will get put on the grill inside of an aluminum foil pocket thing w/ lemon and other herbs and spices

Yeah, I definitely like my salmon with a warm pink center. I've found that it takes longer to bring everything to temperature since it's in a caserole dish + an aluminum foil pouch with wet/green herbs, so i wouldn't cut the recommended cooking time by more than 5-7 minutes.

Normally I don't put anything on it. Maybe a little lemon juice if I have some handy. But for the most part I just put it in the oven to bake for a while (since I don't have a grill).

I like salmon sushi a lot, too, but I don't trust myself to by appropriate quality fish to eat raw without dying. I've had enough food-borne disease for this lifetime, thank you. But whenever I go out to eat sushi, I get a couple of pieces of salmon, for sure.
