You can't please everybody. I don't care where it goes. I like their site and would read it even if it was just in the recruiting thread, but I can see where some people want it done certain ways.

Last night Howell had 10 points in a win for Wheeler that sent them to the Elite 8.

Harrow's 29 points weren't enough as the Raiders lost to defending state champs Norcross.

Zo Brown's Knights lost to S. Gwinnett in a controversial double overtime game.

I can appreciate what they tried to do with that new Cousins article, but I'd rather them not print that. Sounds a lot like sour grapes, no matter how true it might be. Would have been a better article a few weeks from now but the day of makes it sound bitter.

guys the site is a blog. they don't get paid to do it. they aren't really credible for anything to begin with. it's just a couple of guys who do a LOT of work to get you all kinds of information that you would otherwise be without. talk about the site losing credibility? Credibility for what? Scott Wood's box score? Ryan Harrow's interview? Lorenzo Brown and Richard Howell playoff watch? Oh yeah, that and a whole bunch of other stuff are things you wouldn't have if it wasn't for their legwork. are you going to start questioning the interviews they put up or the numbers they put up and say that it's all made up or something?

Wow it's really unbelievable how you people are acting towards us on here. We do A LOT of work to provide you with the most up to date recruiting information, interviews and team news that we possibly can. Everyone who works with us on this has 9-5 jobs and either girlfriends or a family. We do not have to do this, and if it's seriously unappreciated then we simply will not.

I'm sorry Cousins did not pick us, but if you read our Cousins article no where did it say he "Was Coming"...it said our staff was extremely confident in where we stood with him. Look Sid and company thought they had him until the news broke about Memphis. Read our article on it. Our source is extremely legit, and is affilliated with the Wolfpack Program.

Listen, we're not just a bunch of kids running this site. Everything we post is either stats, facts, or something out of the coaches mouths. We're trying to do something positive...we don't make a dime off of this site. Cut us some slack.

when it comes to recruiting, solid information can change in an instant. this does nothing to effect your credibility at all. it's still a solid blog and i love the information you guys provide. keep up the good work.

I like it also. I take it with a grain of salt, but I find it to be pretty good information. The videos are especially convenient, and the updates on committed recruits are good to know.

Exactly, which is why he never should have posted that blog about Cousins was all but a shoe in to come to NC State. And then proceed to post the link to it all over the other NCSU blogs/web sites stirring shit up. That's exactly the reason not to post those kinds of stories/fairy tales.

If you'll notice no other public site was putting that kind of shit out there, which makes them more credible to me, now that he isn't coming.

I LOVE the site and would be seriously PISSED if you stopped busting your tails because of people like ^. I never took the cousins article to mean anything other than we were looking good. And guess what? We were looking good. It was 100% accurate. We just weren't looking good enough unfortunately. People just read more into it than was ever implied and then got all in a fuss over it. And now they're pissed because they let their own interpretation of a BLOG get them upset when it didn't work out the way they IMAGINED it would work out. I mean, if something as simple as that pisses you off so much that you now feel the need to bash the site from here on out you are a very angry person and I feel sorry for you. /rant

Why are you so defensive about everything? Secondly, we did appear to be in very good standing with cousins based on all the buzz that was going around. That's all the article claimed. That's all you can take away from it. Yeah, it sucks we didnt get him but that doesn't mean we weren't looking good at one point. You think that just because he chose memphis there was never any other team on his radar? C'mon now.

So sorry I ruffled your feathers for telling it like it is, in the Sports Talk section where most of the conversation is about NC State athletics. Not sure what optimism you've been able to grasp after 3 years of being in the shitter in the ACC and no light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm happy for you that you can still blindly cling to hope.

Hey, I'm a realist. I know our athletics suck. We suck, it sucks, missing on recruits sucks. It doesn't make me happy. But I still hope for the best. I do think fowler needs to go. I think Lowe needs to make improvement from year to year to keep his job but I don't think he should go after this year. I'm hopeful about Wall but I know our chances are slim and I fully expect him to go elsewhere. I think our football team is headed in the right direction. I believe we have a good coach in Obrien. I think Avent is a good baseball coach although I don't follow baseball as much as some people on here.

Now I'm sure you can find a way to disagree with me on just about every point I made because that is what you do even though none of my above opinions are all that extreme or "blindly optimistic". I see it how it is and that is how it is. Now, if you are going to accuse me of being blindly optimistic would that make you blindly pessimistic? I wouldn't go as far as to say that but I would if I used your logic.

See, I stated my views. I did it without sounding like the sky is falling and without littering my post with expletives. It comes across as a little more calm and collected imo. Now, tell me how I don't know the state of our athletics and how I have a clouded point of view.

Not a big fan of the insinuation that Memphis illegally paid for him to come on the unofficial... That's fine on a message board or even in the comments section, but on a blog that supposedly prides itself on reporting recruiting news it probably isn't a good idea to do that...

I can't imagine coaches/players that you might interview in the future will appreciate that kind of thing being said about another kid/program...

That said, I enjoy the site.

Just putting insinuating unverified articles out there (in my opinion to cover their asses b/c they know they fucked up with that original "Cousin's is on the way" article) about another program makes them lose credibility in my eyes. I know a lot of people like that blog because they mostly post positive things in the face of us being horrible, but come on.
