Wow that actually looks pretty nice. I was looking around trying to find something with live coverage. WRAL has this one for triangle students, but none of them are coming to NCSU:http://www.highschoolot.com/content/asset_gallery/4338551/

Sam Montgomery goes to ...i have a feeling UNCthat means LSU, with Richardson[Edited on February 4, 2009 at 10:37 AM. Reason : d]

10:40 a.m. DE Sam Montgomery just made his announcement on ESPNU, and the rich are getting richer. The No. 2 defensive end in the country selected the LSU Tigers over several other powers in the Southeast. In the days leading up to his decision, it sounded as though the South Carolina prep star was going to play for Butch Davis at UNC.
2/4/2009 10:50:30 AM
oh shit... UT got Myles, sweet!
2/4/2009 10:52:29 AM
^^ Yep, most thought Montgomery was a UNC lean but apparently he really wants to play with his buddy Richardson. Oh well.[Edited on February 4, 2009 at 10:53 AM. Reason : ]

I wish I could be at home parked in front of my 46" flat panel HDTV with ESPNU on, and a ham and cheese sandwhich in my hands. And I'm talking a good ham and cheese sandwhich on a garlic bread roll, with swiss and cheddar, smoked ham, slightly warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds. Mmmm...I'm getting hungry.

2/4/2009 12:56:45 PM
Donald Coleman is rated by Scout as the #3 post-graduate safety I believe.
2/4/2009 1:14:16 PM
God I wish it was football season...
2/4/2009 1:17:43 PM
pretty proud of Clemson pulling off a top20 class amidst our coaching change and all
2/4/2009 1:37:39 PM

2/4/2009 2:32:51 PM
Neuheisel and Chow just brought in a top 10 class.
2/4/2009 3:01:17 PM
looks like we got all 27 LOI's in. goddamnit i wish it was football season.
2/4/2009 3:13:15 PM
^We used to sit through footbal season and pray for basketball to come sooner...I'm dissapointed in our signing class so far...at least we got a new kicker.
2/4/2009 3:21:14 PM
What is there to be dissapointed in? Not enough bling-bling 5 star recruits? This is a solid class that will fill problem spots on our roster.
2/4/2009 3:22:06 PM
Did they really just make a Monty Python reference on ESPN2?
2/4/2009 3:29:11 PM
^^ AND HIS NAME IS CHRIS WARD!amiright?
2/4/2009 3:32:23 PM
2/4/2009 3:39:19 PM
2/4/2009 3:39:23 PM
^a month or two ago somebody posted a story about our new kicker on the wolfpack football recruiting thread. he's supposed to be fantastic![Edited on February 4, 2009 at 3:55 PM. Reason : i meant punter][Edited on February 4, 2009 at 4:16 PM. Reason : who can find this article i speak of?]
2/4/2009 3:51:28 PM
^we didn't get a new kicker, we got a new punter. Ward is a punter. Czajkowski is serviceable.....they didn't ask him to kick many deep ones last year.
2/4/2009 3:53:22 PM
^Because we had no faith in him for the longer kicks. His longest made all year was 42. Having a guy who can potentially make a 47-50 yarder can effect the entire game.
2/4/2009 3:55:02 PM
maybe we can pick up that deraney kid
2/4/2009 3:58:26 PM
2/4/2009 3:59:32 PM
He missed from 49 against SCar and only attempted 2 more over 40 all year (41,42, made them both). But there were multiple times when we went for it on 4th down not because we thought we could make it, but because we had to because our kicker was shit (we were 6-16 on 4th down)
2/4/2009 4:02:04 PM
thats one of the stupidest things posted in this thread^we went for it when it was a close chance or big time need to make it on 4thother times we either kicked a FG or PUNTED which is what this kicker isplease do your research before you come in here asking OMGWTF is TOB doing? [Edited on February 4, 2009 at 4:06 PM. Reason : there is a thing called punting, which we did many times we couldnt kick a FG]
2/4/2009 4:05:04 PM
2/4/2009 4:08:04 PM
2/4/2009 4:13:24 PM
^seriously??? how many fucking college kickers do you know that can make a FG "Anywhere from our side of the 50"???Gimme a kicker that can consistently make FG's b/t 35-45 yds and i'll be happy.
2/4/2009 4:15:33 PM
oh my god we need a punter.is Pierson his name?watchign him punt makes me want to
2/4/2009 4:20:31 PM
jesus, if the kid is kicking inside our 50 then he must have some freak of nature legthe only college kid that i can think of that could hit from that length consistently was Janikowski at FSU[Edited on February 4, 2009 at 4:23 PM. Reason : sadf]
2/4/2009 4:20:34 PM
^exactlNugent, wont ever forget him kicking it thru the FG post here on kickoff
2/4/2009 4:22:01 PM
I thought of Crosby from CU and Nugent from tOSU, but even that was 2-3 years ago.
2/4/2009 4:22:14 PM
How about just in the ACC?FSU - Graham Gano (5-5 in the 40's, 5-7 in the 50's)Miami - Matt Bosher (2-3 in the 50's)VT - Dustin Keys (6-10 over 40)And then Duke had this Joe Surgan guy last year who only came out for the 50+ shots (2-4)...but I think he's graduating. And earlier I meant to say from the opponent's side of the 50, the side we're trying to score on.[Edited on February 4, 2009 at 4:24 PM. Reason : -]
2/4/2009 4:22:43 PM
i dont know what all this kicking talk is about but the punter we signed is the best one in the nation for this high school class so....that will affect games without a doubt
