So, I got 9000 bucks to spend on certifications. Anything in particular I should look into? Preferably something that I can get online, however that's not a limiting factor, just a preferable one.

I suggest CPR.Then Dog Training. Then you can take training from my wife and get your Program for Avocational Archaeological Certification (PAAC).Care to be a little more specific.

Haha, already got CPR. As far as specific, well the Air Force gives everyone 9000 to blow on certifications, I plan on going back to school in 3 years to finish up an engineering degree, so anything useful would be nice.

Are you in the Springs still? One to look into may be Project Management, it's relevant no matter what field you're in and is relatively easy to maintain. You get a nifty three letter acronym to put after your name too. The classes are a cakewalk, two and three day workshops.

It's PMP, which is short for PIMP.

Kind of in Korea right now, and after that Italy. Are they available online?

You can probably find it and many others through distance learning at any Continuing ed dept. at any University. It'll be self-paced or virtual if they have it - they may not as it's generally a workshop where you work in groups. Just think of one you may be interested in and Google different centers. I do recommend you check up on the PM one, it will be relevant now and 30 years from now.[Edited on January 31, 2009 at 9:05 AM. Reason : a]
