So, the previous owner of my car spotted the side panel and a little of the hood with white primer while painting (I think) his porch. I didn't really care that much when I bought the car, and I don't really care that much now, but if it could be fixed without too much $, I'd be interested in trying.I don't know if it's oil or water based. It does scratch off a little with my fingernails, so I wondered if something like those plastic razorblades someone mentioned on a car forum I'm on might work. they said they don't scratch the paint and are good for taking shit off your car like tar and the like.I'd also considered just clay barring the vehicle if that would take it off, but I'm not really sure. Maybe using the blades to get the bigger specks off and the clay bar to clean up any small discoloration? I don't know. Thought you guys might know of some suggestions.

I found some small plastic blades at Carquest that are designed to work on paint and glass and stuff. Theyre not that expensive, so I'm going to try those. If anyone else might need some for any similar purpose, i could probably sell some off to ya. They only come in a box of 100
