http://www.webtools.ncsu.edu/packsnaps/Pack Snaps is a photo application specifically for NC State. Besides your typical features (a decent uploader, browsing, captions) there are a few (hopefully) useful features:-Permissions: make public or private albums. Appoint managers and admins to handle your albums.-RSS Feeds: subscribe to an album or multiple albums with one feed.-Exporting: embed albums on your own site; dead simple.-Random photos: a bit superfluous but I like it. Ex:Does the interface need an overhaul? Any features you want? Is the application pointless? I tried to make this thread in Chit Chat, but it died. I fear the same outcome for this entire app, so I wanted to let you guys see it one time before it retired into obscurity.[Edited on January 26, 2009 at 2:55 PM. Reason : link. doh]

pointless. why does nc state need it's own photo management app? there are plenty of other popular, better featured photo apps online already. i would suggest nc state spent development money in other areas[Edited on January 26, 2009 at 3:17 PM. Reason : can't access it cus no unity id]

i missed the part about embedded pictures the first time, that may make it worth it to me a littlebut i use social network sites for pictures of friends or family and one of the other established sites for general stuff. i just don't see the need for this as a full replacement.
