trend micro has some good reviews, is it not better than what they had?
1/12/2009 1:16:49 PM
Truth be told I'd only care about memory usage. Which uses less?
1/12/2009 1:19:35 PM
Trend Micro. hands down. Symantec's corporate products have gone to shit in the past year.
1/12/2009 1:23:12 PM
Trend Micro and McAffee are the best ones on the market right now. The Symantec shit sucks and their Norton Antivirus is ridiculously cpu intensive.
1/12/2009 2:15:46 PM
I work at a computer repair place, I would NEVER put McAffee on any of my computers. I would say a large majority of virus removals that I have to perform had McAffee as their antivirus. TrendMicro seems to do very well though.

I would never put McAfee or Symantec (Consumer) on someone's computer ... the Symantec Corporate products were lightweight enough until they hit version 10 and 11 ... that said, still don't like either of those companies bloated software.I've not used Trend Micro before but never heard anything negative.
1/12/2009 4:23:33 PM
put it on my windows 7 install, just for S&G. runs in background 5 processes 32mb total.
1/12/2009 4:25:22 PM
get a mac, you wont need the shit then
1/12/2009 4:27:55 PM
How can I persuade my father to delete the Norton Systemsworks program he's got and let me install this basic antivirus for him?
1/12/2009 4:39:17 PM

1/12/2009 4:51:35 PM
