If Tim Tebow comes back for his senior season, Florida has a great chance to get back to the national title game, if not win it- They play 7 home games, and only 4 road games- Georgia lost Stafford and Moreno, @LSU will be toughest regular season gameMy Preseason Top 5:1) Florida (if Tebow returns)2) USC 3) Texas 4) Ohio State (Pryor is only going to get better)5) LSU

Can't argue with 1-4, but I still don't like LSU.I know they are young and looked great against Georgia Tech, but I still don't see them cracking the top 5...especially in the SEC.Thoughts on Bama? Sure, they lose John Parker Wilson. But apparently everyone is loving Star Jackson there. I think they'll be tough again with all that talent.

I guess my #5 team i could have just said5) an SEC team

^Hahaha, why does he do that?Seriously, it can't hurt to gain an extra few yards. And if the guy rocks you a little late, you just get an extra 15 yards. There has been a few times were he just avoids getting a first down so he can run out of bounds a couple yards short (when NO ONE is around). Or he just walks out of bounds and loses a couple yards instead of tossing the ball away. That's one thing I really like about Wilson. If he's going to lose a yard or two, he just throws it away. If he has the opportunity to gain an extra yard or two, he goes for it.

With Boeckman and Beanie gone, this ohio state team will be all on Pryor's shoulders(or legs)They get the trojans in the horseshoe on sept. 12
1/9/2009 11:40:36 AM
OSU is losing Robiske and Hartline from their receiving corpsalso, they are losing Laurenitis, Jenkins and Freeman from their defense.I know that they mostly just reload and have some good recruits coming in, but its gonna be tough sledding next season. Hopefully Pryor works on his throwing a ton this offseason, if he can throw anywhere near as well as he runs, hes gonna be a beast
1/9/2009 11:47:57 AM
osu will be 3rd in the big eleventexas and ou again clusterfuck the big 12, ironically neither wins the conference championshipusc will only lose once, surprisingly of course and take themselves out of consideration b/c the loss will be late in the season.utah goes undefeated again but loses their bowl game and finish in the top 10.alabama and florida clash again for the sec championship, it hinges on tebow being in the stands or on the field.georgia will play well but lose to florida.tech and state programs in the ACC all take another step forward with florida state and georgia tech in the acc championship game, (vt loses tiebreaker to GT) ncsu finishes 8-4 after starting 1-3. and wins their bowl game (beats UNC)

1/9/2009 12:19:48 PM

i guess it depends on what you mean by QB controversyif Wilson is healthy, and he wants to stick with football, he should clearly be the starter, unless Glennon looks unbelievable in practicethere will definitely be a controversy in the sense that you want Wilson and Glennon happy, but I think Glennon realizes this is Wilson's job to lose

pryor as a receiver looked good in the red zoneif he isnt ready to thread the needle next year and the defense hones in on his legs in the red zone... maybe tressel should put his pocket passer-esque qb in and pryor at receiver
1/9/2009 1:43:37 PM
oh shit, for some reason I thought Hartline was a senior, I feel like hes been there foreverdid he have a single catch during the Texas game? I dont think they threw it to him at all
1/9/2009 1:44:22 PM
Ole Miss is my sleeper for next year
1/9/2009 1:45:57 PM
just got the text from ESPN that Tebow is coming back.
1/11/2009 2:37:52 PM
i just hope Wilson plays next year.. he may decide to stick with baseball
1/11/2009 2:43:38 PM
how is ole miss a sleeper when they went 9-4 and beat florida?
1/11/2009 4:16:13 PM
^^^ Ole Miss looked great against TTU, but the loss of Michael Oher will probably set them back in SEC play
1/11/2009 4:18:00 PM
I predict that USC and tOSU continue to get their dicks sucked by ESPN despite any actual reason for it
1/11/2009 4:27:14 PM
USC doesn't deserve it?are you fucking retarded?
1/11/2009 4:32:47 PM
osu i'll grant you, but usc? that team is amazing every single year.
1/11/2009 4:32:48 PM
i would have never expected anyone to pick those five teams

can't really link to the ESPN text alert service, can you?[Edited on January 11, 2009 at 8:59 PM. Reason : TRUST THE MAN]
1/11/2009 8:58:27 PM
yeah, I should apologize for having a service that informs me of sports news before they have time to type up the story. my fault.
1/11/2009 9:08:03 PM
No, not that. There's just no need to be a prick to the guy that comes along and posts a link for story details.\/ I just got a text that said Hansbrough tripped over his dog and will be out for the season, so yes.[Edited on January 11, 2009 at 9:16 PM. Reason : -]
1/11/2009 9:13:47 PM
I don't wanna be that guy but is there really any more details you need than either he's comin back or he aint?
1/11/2009 9:15:32 PM
1/11/2009 9:24:52 PM
1/11/2009 9:48:26 PM
alright, fair enoughbut you can't say a team with a sick qb and a great coach can't contend for the SEC championshipbecause that's fucking stupid
1/11/2009 9:58:08 PM
I agree, I just believe they'll fly under the radar since LSU will probably be the big favorite to win the west since the GT game.[Edited on January 11, 2009 at 10:23 PM. Reason : .]
