"the dems" did not pick barack obama"the american people" did. and if you recall, "the dems" were decidedly AGAINST B.O. in favor of their gal, Hillary, until it became glaringly apparent she was getting her ass handed to her.OTOH, the choice of RNC is *DEFINITELY* a party pick, decided by the upper echelon of party members.you know this guy was picked in response to the embarrassment of having their previously favored candidate caught promoting "Barack the Magic Negro" as part of his campaign.it's damage control. that's it and that's all, man.[Edited on January 8, 2009 at 10:53 AM. I agree that race is partially a factor, but then again, given how badly gutted the RNC leadership pipeline is, just about anyone could become chairman of the party at this point.
