people's idea of going to the beach in galveston is sitting in a lawn chair on the sidewalk in front of the car. unless it gets hot, then they sit in the car with the a/c on. not a big fan.

its still tore up in some parts, and there are some areas that the cops wont go in, so martial law is still in effect after dark. if you plan on being down there after dark, bring your gun with you...
