At my work computer Word typically defaults to open documents in track changes.... and sometimes in a reading layout. When I edit some documents it creates a ton of .tmp files in the shared folders.Anyone know how i can try and get this resolved. Is this a network thing or a setting I can adjust in Word?

the default view is typically the "last used" setting for that file (the view settings stored in the file)if you are creating "new" documents, try changing the default view settings in your template files. (normal.dot, etc.)[Edited on December 23, 2008 at 2:28 PM. Reason : ,]
