So for some reason today, Firefox and IE both decided to start freezing whenever I access some kind of flash file. it will usually start out, work for a second, then hang. Youtube hangs almost immediately, while some flash game i went to took a little longer. My banking site has flash on the front page that froze too.I'm going to keep trying to fix the problem, but thought I would come here for suggestions. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled flash. I'll list my plugins below, though I don't know if they would be the problem since the same damn thing happens in IE as well.Firefox (3.0.4) plugins:Adblock Plus 1.0FireFTP 1.0.2Flashblock 1.5.7.1Foxmarks Synchronizer 2.6Gmail Notifier 0.6.3.10Greasemonkey 0.8.2something (currently disabled)All these plugins have been installed for a while now. Nothing is new. One of them updated recently, but I didn't notice which one. I would suspect that to be the problem, except that it happens in IE too, so I don't know. I'll post a solution if I figure one out. Thank for any help you might have.Update:Only happens when theres audio. Youtube with no audio works fine, but when you do one with audio, shit hangs.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 8:38 PM. Reason : add]

I ended up rolling back my audio driver and now everything works again. In the process, I found out that my laptop isnt listed on the manufacturers website in the drivers support section. They need to get on the ball.
