Agreed. First thing I did was remove the one on the front of my car. And I play on removing the Infiniti of Lake Norman rear plate b/c that's just silly. A nice shiny NCSU one will take its place

^ I will definitely check them out...I am on LS1tech (have been for almost 4 years now) and they have a G8 section...not as active as that board of course but people on that site are extremely knowledgeable about cars

Meh, I got some money when I graduated high school to buy a new car. I bought another used car with about 1/3rd the money, put the rest in mutual funds. Fast forward almost a decade, the mutual funds are still where they were, but I know how to fix cars... This is why presents like a new car are nice, because a lot of people could never justify buying one for themselves, me included.

yeah I would have definitely rather bought a used car and kept the rest of the money but my dad said that wasnt how it works...he wanted me to have a new car of my own, something nice, with a warranty, and something that if I take care of it will easily last the next 10 years of my life. my family has had a few pontiacs over the years, and they've proved to be very reliable. granted they were ~5 years old when my dad bought them, I have no idea how the new ones are. All of ours had over 100K and were still running fine. it is a p.o.n.t.i.a.c. though.
